i moved out to taiwan!🇹🇼🌼🧋
after working for almost 2 years, i d̶e̶c̶i̶d̶e̶d̶ my parents kicked me out of indonesia. honestly i had a mixed feelings because i felt like i had a nice career and stability, supportive team, etc. but at the same time i realized i've been in my comfort zone for too long :]]
so i decided to take the chance to study abroad since i was granted a scholarship as well. the first few weeks were hard for me cause that's just me, i have this condition where i will dislike the place that i recently moved to. but as time went by, i do like my life here.
in terms of the city infrastructure, it's pretty similar to the city i previously lived in, but better. and it's also much safer than indonesia. so i didnt really have the culture shock but i'm glad the country is safer.
i've been here for 2 months and i haven't really explored the city because i was sick for a whole month :[ and oh this graduate life is challenging :]]
i'm getting tired of doing nothing so i made a promise that i will use one of the weekend days to visit something.
i like temple hopping (a hobby that i developed from other country) and there are lots of temples and shrines in taiwan so probably will have this as my quest... and also collecting the temples and shrines stamps (if any) :) i basically just stroll around in temples and sit for quite a long time because i think the temples are very serene and i just feel ease when i'm there.
i like visiting palaces and museums too so prolly will do this too (but find the ones that are free!)
i also would like to just sit in the riverside, do nothing or just watch people living their lives.
i like biking too especially if there's a bicycle track but the problem is i dont have a bike lol
maybe some day i'll get social and go out with my friends but i'm used to doing everything in my own company ;]
life is too short for me to just stay at the dormitory :]]]]]]]]] i understand that i have a lot of assignments but everything just depends on how i manage my time and luckily i'm great at time management lol
i'm writing this after my chinese class.. so it's kinda messy. it's 10.43pm now and i need to sleep.
until next time,
